Sprinkles Of My Life

I hope everyone had a merry Christmas!  Mine was great!  Lots of driving around to visit various sides of the families, but well worth it.  I've been enjoying my vacation from school a little too much and have been slacking on my recipe posting, so I'm sorry about that.  I promise I will try to be better!  Maybe that will be one of my new year's resolutions.  Have you made a list of resolutions?  I haven't yet, I'm trying to decide if I really want to make a list or not.  How many of us really stick to them the whole year?  I wish I could say I do.. but aint nobody got time for that!!  Oh I know.. my first resolution will be to keep my resolutions!!

Speaking of New Year's, is anyone doing anything exciting?  Do you go to a big party and ring in the new year in style?  Or are you more of the stay at home and bang pots and pans type?  Or do you even stay up at all?  This year we will be visiting one of my sisters and celebrating in Salt Lake City!  I'm so excited!  Last year I couldn't even stay up to watch the ball drop {I'm an old soul ;)}, so I hope I can make it all night!

What sort of baked goods did you make for the holidays?  My Christmas specialty is my Andes Mint Cookies.  Some of my other goodies I made were decorated Sugar Cookies, Peanut butter Chocolate Bark, and Chocolate Chip Cookies!  Do you have a specialty goodie that everyone expects from you each year?

I hope you all have a safe and happy new year.  Cross your fingers for me in hopes that I stay awake this year! ;-)

Sprinkles across the Web:

1.  I've had this song stuck in my head all week!  This Christmas Jammies card video is so cute.

2.  Are you an SNL fan? A Justin Timberlake fan? A Jimmy Fallon fan? Watch this!

3.  I hope to accomplish this prank one day... one day....

4.  "You can never be overdressed or overeducated", -Oscar Wilde  But you can be over baked!!

5.  Jennifer Lawrence is everyone's best friend, isn't she?
